Mulch Sale 2012
The Mulch sale is here. This is one of the only 2 fundraisers football does. This directly helps our players pay for team camp. SALE ENDS MARCH 7th
Notes about the sale:
- Standard mulch (3 cubic feet) $4.25/bag
- Red or Black mulch (2 cubic feet) $4.25/bag
- All prices include tax
- Checks made payable to CHS football
- Orders of 25 or more have free delivery
- We will deliver (Between SMC boarder and Great Mills Rd)
- You can sell outside that area but seller or buyer is responsible for delivery/pick-up
- We need players and volunteers to help deliver (players get more towards camp for helping, more hands lighter load!!)

Team Camp 2012
Team Camp will be at McDaniel College again this year. The dates are Tuesday, July 17 through Friday, July 20. The cost is still unknown, but last year's cost was $285 for camp and $30 for the bus fee. In addition, the boys typically like a little spending money for drinks, snacks or food for the trip up or back. The camp is for current high schools students and does not include incoming freshmen.
Weight Room is Here
It will be held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15-7:15 p.m. You are encouraged to workout at home on the days weight room is not held. Cardiovascular activities are a great way to condition as well.
Paperwork should be turned in the first night you arrive to participate in weight room activities.
To be eligible to participate:
- You must submit the Out-of-Season Conditioning parent permission form on the day you begin weight room (listed below; if you are unable to open the file go to www.smcps.org and type in athletic forms in the search box and a list of forms will come up including the off season permission form)
- Have a physical on file from football season that has not expired; if it has expired you will need to submit updated paperwork; physicals are good for one year
- Must have a 2.0 GPA from the first marking period
Anyone interested in playing football is encouraged to participate in weight room and should consult with Coach Lisanti or Coach O’Grady on the additional paperwork they would need to submit. Incoming freshman will join the weight room activities in March.
